testing Additional DNS fails

Hello,

I have a medium size network (600 Clients and 5 servers)
with only one windows 2000 domain and it's located at one
site.

I have 2 DCs.i have an AD integrated DNS installed on one
of them.
I installed another DNS on the second DC so i can remove
some load from the first one.
When i use the tests of the Monitoring Tab at the
properties, i get The simple query failed!
I don't know why? i tried to unistall and reinstall but
still i have the same result.

Hi,

pls test your DNS with nslookup. From your Client start nslookup. If you are
connected to another DNS redirect your request with "server
<DNSServerToTest>. Now enter a name (like pc01.domain.com.).
what answer do you get? Can you see the zone in the DNS Console? Are there
any errors in the EventLog?
