Test whether a Word Doc is projected

Hi All
I'm importing data from many word documents in Access 2003 and its works
fine. That is until some removes the document projection. The question is how
do I test whether a document is projected from within Access?

Hi,
the easiest way - try to open document as unprotected, if no error - then
document is not protected

Hi,
I think you can use your own code. just add error handler, and when you
import non-protected document ("That is until some removes the document
projection. ") - catch the error and provide appropriate message

also you can open document that way - it no error - then no protection:
