Test email problem

When sending a test message in Outlook2003(XP) it comes
back with the wrong name in the from line. It has the
correct email address. Checking the header indicates the
correct address but wrong name. pst was imported from old
pc to new. Checked with isp to see if any settings in
webmail may cause this. No luck. Can't find anything in
knowledge base. Exported pst, removed all email accts and
set back up. Imported pst, still have same problem.
 
I had a similar problem, but it also was sending out
multiple copies of the e-mail to multiple users. I
switched my Pop3 provider (eNom) and the problem was
fixed. (interaction problem with Pop Account and Pop
server?)I tried two different Pop3 providers and it
worked fine on both of them. I hope these leads you in
the right direction. . .
