Test Account settings fails to send, but I can send normally. Why.

I just started using Hostingfly as my email server. I put a trouble call in
with them because the "Test Account Settings" fails to send test E-mail. I
can send email with the same settings in outlook express 6. I tried to use in
normally in outlook 2003 and it would send mail to Yahoo. So it appears that
it really works but the testing fails. What does it do differently during
the test and normal send/receive? Is there something wrong with Outlook 2003
or is it HostingFly blocking the test message for some reason.

which error message do you get after trying sending the test message?
