Our computer club's main computer used for meetings has a terrible
problem displaying video files. It has P4 2.8 ghz processor with 512
mgs RAM and ( I believe ) a SSI video card.
Normal display is fine -- desktop and regular programs. But when we try
to display a video clip ( all filetypes display same problem ) it is
terrible. Many horizonal lines like looking at the picture through
venetian blinds. It has DirectX 9.0C and Windows Media Player 10. Should
be up to date on everything.
I installed DIVX this morning to try a different program and get the
same results.
I've ran dxdiag.exe and it reports all is well .. no problems.
Device manager shows everything functioning with no problems.
We only have problems when displaying video files. Still pictures show
fine in PSP and Paint.
All suggestions / solutions / jokes appreciated
