Hello,
i have just finished installing all the stuff i need on my pc. The last
thing was my tv-tuner card. I have installed the card + vista drivers +
software -> everything works fine.

Then i wanted to use this card in the Media Center. But there i get the
error that i have no TV-Tuner installed.

Does anyone have a idea what i can do ?!

kind regards

What brand\model of tuner is it? Were the drivers already available in Vista
or did you have to get them from the manufacturer? Did the tuner come with
it's own software? Can you install that and does it see the tuner?

Hello,

it's a Terratec Cintergy1200DVB-C Tuner - the chip on the card is from
philips.
I have installed drivers from the manufacturer becaus windows had no drivers
for the card. But the drivers are - regarding to the manufacturer - for
windows vista.

The software from the tuner card works fine - i can watch TV with the
software - so i know that the card is working correctly. but the windows
media center tells me that there is no card installed :(

There shouldn't be anything magical you need to do if the drivers are
working as they should.

Sounds like the manufacturers idea of Vista compatible drivers may just be
that their software works with it. I would contact the manufacturer again
and ask when they will have drivers that support Media Center in Vista.

Ok, I'll contact them. thanks for your help.
