Hi

I have a couple of WIN 2000 Advanced Servers running Terminal Services
(C:\WINNT\System32\termsrv.exe). I connect to these (over the LAN) using a
WIN XP Desktop using "Remote Desktop Connection".

I also have 10x WIN 2000 Pro Desktops which I wish to connect to (in a
similar and painless fashion) from the same WIN XP Desktop.

Question is : Can I install the same or similar Terminal Services on the WIN
2000 PC's?

I realise tools such as PC Anywhere exist. But the method outlined above is
1. so easy and 2. does not need local user interaction.

If there are licencing issues is there any locations any suggested
(hopefully) solutions you may suggest may have a download for trial
purposes?

Many Thanks

Nick

XP has Remote Desktop (Terminal Servers) built into the desktop OS but Win2K
does not. To access Win2K PC in the same manner you'll need PCAnyware if
you want to pay for it, or you can do a google search for VNC. VNC is
free.

No, you cannot. It is part of Windows 2000 Server

I deal with programs for remote control 5 years.
I recommend to use the program for the remote control - " Anyplace Control ".
The software works more quickly and reliably, than RealVNC and more simple in
use that most analogs. You can download the software from
http://www.anyplace-control.com
