terminal services

Win2k Pro cannot be used for Terminal Services. This feature was added in
Windows XP. Now if you mean you want to connect from Pro to a terminal
server then you must install the Terminal Services Client. The setup disks
are located on a server that is running Terminal Services under
Winnt\system32\clients\tsclient\win32\disks\disk1 - run the setup and you
will have the client on the Pro machine and then you can connect to Terminal
Servers.

You mean that I can not use terminal services to interact with 2K pro rather
than physically going to the machine to fix a small problem that a user is
having. Is there any MS tools that does that?

No. It's called Windows XP. Terminal Services is only for servers in Win2k.
Now almost any client can connect to a machine running Terminal Services but
Win2k Pro cannot be a 'Terminal Server' itself.

Thanks. Lat question. I downloaded remote desktop. I was able to connect to
an XP machine from a 2K server. My question is, can I connect to 2k pro
machine through remote desktop or something else from my 2k server?
Currently I am using tightVNC but I do not like.

Thanks in advance
