Hi all

I have recently installed Terminal Services on a Windows 2000 member
server for users in the domain to use a particular piece of TCS
software. I have the services working fine on the server but the
clients all connect to the desktop.

What I would like to do is have the ability for the users to connect
to the application only without being able to use all the other
desktop items/applications on the server.

Is this possible within a Windows 2000/XP network? If it isnt is there
any 'cheap' solutions to my problem?

Thanks you, (e-mail address removed)

If they only need access to one program you can Specify a program to start when a user logs on, so they don't access the explorer shell. See how to do this here

Instructions on how to customize the Remote Desktop Client here, as you can also customize a connection file for each program, in the case that users need access to more than one program (beware that opening multiple programs this way opens a new session for each)
