Hi,

With a GPO I have tried to automatically kill disconnected
sessions and idle sessions. Here the configuration info.

===========================================================
GPO\Computer Configuration\Administrative
Templates\Windows Components\Terminal Services\Sessions:

Policy Setting
Allow reconnection from original client only Enabled
Set time limit for active sessions Disabled
Set time limit for disconnected sessions Enabled
End a disconnected session 5 minutes"

Policy Setting
Set time limit for idle sessions Enabled
Idle session limit : 1 hour

Policy Setting
Terminate session when time limits are reached Enabled
===========================================================

Okay so far the theory. I have connected to a TS with a TS
client and disconnected the session. I have waited for 7
minutes, monitoring TS Manager. After 5 minutes the
session was not ended!

Who has any clue?

That is because the system is running on "Microsoft"
time. Any resemblence to real time is purely
coindidental!

Settings like these only take effect after this client
logs out and back in. When they log back in, do they then
get logged out quickly?
