I'm running 2 win2000 server pcs.

One is the domain controller called NT2.

Another is a terminal services server.

When i join the terminal services server to the NT2 domain, all of the
sudden when i try to login remotely, i get the login screen, but after a
while it says i dont have access to logon.

when i remove it from the domain, it works fine again

Are you using a domain account to log on or a local account?

it's a local account to the terminal server, but there's an account on the
domain controller with the same credentials and access rights

Give the account you are using full control in the RDP properties via Terminal Services Manager on the TS box.

Terminal Services Manager on the TS box.

you cant do much configuring via terminal services manager

No TS Configuration...open TS Config for the TS server in question, under Connections right click the RDP-TCP object>Properties>Permissions.

you mean via terminal services configuration

ok...i've done that

under permissions I had to add the local user and the NT2/USER

I also had to give full control to the COMPUTER on NT2, but once i did
this, it was logging me in as a new user asking to "setup your win2k
server" all my icons gone etc...I then removed the NT2/FRX COMPUTER from
permissions, and now when i try to login it says that it's exceeded the
maxmimum number of connections, but i'm the only one trying to connect.
I've even verified this by going to the domain controller, running TS
manager, and viewing the TS Server's connections

hmmmmm

it's too late now though, it won't let me in at all, and i'm not physically
there...any suggestions?
