Hi World,

We currently use Win2k Terminal Server and have setup a connection via the
internet and the active-x RDC client.

This all works well by the way, the problem I have is that when a user goes
travelling and attempts to use it from an Internet Cafe or terminal at an
airport, most of them have disabled the downloading of active-x components.

Does anyone know a way around this or perhaps another way of using TS over
the internet, perhaps java?

Regards,
Dean Harry

I had same problem before , no other way to use TS except with activeX ...
though there might be some other 3rd party options.. even VPN then VNC for
such emergancies?

This is sooooo wrong.

DL the RDP client from MS. This is installed as a component, and IS NOT an
active-x control that is run via the browser.

What OS are your clients running?

XP has an RDP client built in: programs>accessories>communications>remote
desktop connection.
