I experieced this when I 1st set the server up a few months ago and just had
it happen again. All was well for several months. I had a problem with a
user that appeared to have corruption in their profile in that their MS
Office apps kept hanging. I decided to delete their profile and have it
recreate the next time the logged in. I deleted the user directory under
"documents and settings." As soon as this user logged in their screen sat
there and they never got a desktop. All other users were no longer able to
get onto Terminal Services. When I tried to run Windows Explorer on the
server desktop to look at the directories I basically got an hourglass and
was not able to do anything. I was not even able to do a shutdown/restart.
It just sat there "shutting down." I had to power cycle.

Anyone else see this. I am actually running Windows 2003 server. Did not
see a forum for that.

HELP PLEASE!!
