Hi, there!

I have already install window 2000 server which is a
member server only. After that, i installed the terminal
services mode as 'application mode" and then tried to
activate a terminal services license server. But it is
fail. The event id is 29 & 7024. I tried to find out the
solution from microsoft site - like MS KB article
(277917). Then i followed the step. It is still
unsuccess. I don't know to fix the problem. Please kindly
advise me!

Thanks....

Did you try to install the Licensing Server on the same member server
as the TS? That won't work if the server is a member of a W2K domain.
You will need to install the LS on a Domain Controller.

Hi,

I also install the LS on a Domain controller, i don't
know why it doesn't work. Any suggestion?? Thanks!

I would uninstall the Licensing Service from the member server,
since that is not going to work anyway. Then reboot the server.
The EventID 79 and 7024 should now disappear.
If the TS cannot locate a LS after the reboot (shown by EventID
1010) and you have verified that the LS on the Domain Controller
is installed and activated, try to hardcode the address of the LS
into the registry of the TS:
