I look after three different small office domains. Two service TS for both
remote access for admin (that's often me) and application users. On each of
these client printers are no problem at all. The event log shows them coming
and going and errors as applicable.
The third server is remote access only for admin (always me). My connects
that pick up my HP printer perfectly on the other two doesn't work on this
server. The system event log shows nothing. No errors and no printer
comments.
I have checked the security policy and it shows 'not enabled' to disallow
users to add drivers. There is no specific firewall issue as all three sites
configured topologically the same way.
The rdp connection allows printers. The Remote connect software is the same
for all of these servers so not suspect.
All three are Windows 2000 Service pack 4.
The problem server is showing:
Terminal Server licensing has not been activated (termservlicensing id 1018)
Web and MS sites don't mention a limitations on remote connections.
