I have a Citrix box with Terminal Services running (no doubt) and
Citrix is acting up. I'm not that familiar with either of these (TS or
Citrix...My group inherited this duty recently) but I have users that
routinely use this server.
Since I can't seem to figure out why Citrix suddenly crawls when a
remote user prints something (this happened after upgrading Citrix MF
XP FR3 to SP4 from Citrix) I want to just get them set up to log in
using RPD if possible.
ALthough the RemoteUsers security group has Logon Locally privaleges
to the terminal server they cannot log on with the RDP program (Get
error message that states "You do not have access to logon to this
session.") What does that mean? And, more importantly, how can I fix
it so these users can use RDP to log on (at least until I can get the
Citrix issue fixed.)
-Note: This is a Windows 2000 Terminal Server with 8 users and 20
licenses. All users in the RemoteUsers group have Allow to connect to
terminal server active in their properties.-
