Hi there,
Why I am getting error while connected to a dell NAS W2K terminal server
that I jsut reinstalled with a second account, besides administrator:
The terminal server has axceeded the maximum allowed number of terminal
connections.
The system cannot log you on.The system has reached its licenses logon
limit.
Thanks a lot, Calin

Assuming this is administrative mode, you may be using two sessions. For example, they may disconnect instead of logoff. To confirm that, go to TS manage to check the connection session.

Hi Robert,
Thanks a lot, it worked I reset one connection. How could I prevent this in the future? Many thanks, Calin

Have users log off instead of terminating their sessions.

There are override options in TS management to set what happens to
disconnected sessions, idle sessions, etc. I usually set up disconnectd
sessions to terminate after a reasonable period of time. If this is just for
administration, you can have sessions terminate immediately. If users are
logging in, I'd warn them in advance, the set it to end their sessions after
30 minutes - that way if they accidentally close the session or lose the
connection they still have a half-hour to get back in and save what they
were working on!
