I am running Windows 2003 Server and I installed Terminal Server unto it.
This server is part of a Windows 2000 domain.
The problem that I am running into is that when clients connect using
Terminal Server Client software they are sometimes availbe to get through and
other times they get an error that states:
"The system cannot log you on due to the following error: The RPC server is
unavailable. Please try again or consult your system administrator."
When I look at the event Application event log I see an error that shows the
same time and date when the person tried to access it, but received the error
above. This error reads:
"Logon rejected for Corp\tgerovac. Unable to obtain Terminal Server User
Configuration. Error: The RPC Server is unavailable."
Why am I getting these errors. I have rebuilt this server 3 times in one
case putting SP1 on it and the others trying different configuration, but I
still get the same error. How could I resolve this?
