I just need a simple client install for term services on my laptop for
admining a couple of servers. It doesn't have a floppy. The new "advanced"
client doesn't want to install because of my netmeeting install. Can anyone
point me in a direction to get this resolved that doesn't involve
uninstalling netmeeting?

Thanks,

Scott

Scott,

By new advanced client I assume you mean the Remote Desktop Connection client that can be downloaded from the site
below.

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/rdclientdl.asp

If your Terminal Server is Windows 2000 and you have access to it, the older client is located in %systemroot%\system32
\clients\tsclient\net\win32. You can either connect to this over the network, put the files from the folder on a CD or put the
files on some other removable media the laptop can use, USB flash drive, etc. You can then use these files to install the
Terminal Services Client onto your laptop. I have used this client on a system that also had Netmeeting installed and
running. I have not tried it with the Remote Desktop function of Netmeeting running at the same time.
