Can someone shed light on how the Temporary Internet Files structure is in
Windows XP? Why do I only have the Temporary Internet Files folder under
Local Settings of my profile? Where did all the sub folders go that we used
to see in other versions of Windows? I am using SP2 on version 6 of XP...I'm
doing some research.

They are hidden from the users interface. You can still access the directory
from a command prompt or by simply typing in the location in the address in
explorer adding \Content.IE5 to the location. That opens the hidden
directory to the sub folders.

Example:
:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Temporary Internet
Files\Content.IE5
