While visitng a site and looking at a streaming video, I noticed that
the .wmv I viewed was downloaded to my Windows/Temporary Internet
Files/ folder. The downloaded filename had strange characters
attached to the name and Windows recognized the file as a .dat. Is
there anny way to convert the .dat file in my temporary directory to a
..wmv or some other file extension? I tried to rename the file and, of
course, this did not work.
