I downloaded an old radio program, Fibber McGee and Molly using Windows xp.
I was not given a choice of where to put the file and the program was
downloaded to the Temporary Folder. Now I can't find it. Where is the
Temporary Folder? I did a search, nothing; explored C:, couldn't find
anything with that name. What am I missing?

If using Internet Explorer, you should have used the Save As... option
and the program was
downloaded to the Temporary Folder. Now I can't find it. Where is the

Your search has to incldue system and hidden folders.

Right click on the Start button and then left click on Explore. Then click on
documents and then local setings and check the temp files. This is where it
probably went.

To be more exact . . Open up Windows Explorer (Windows Key + E) or ( Right
Click - start button "Explore all users").

Navigate to "C:\Documents and Settings\[Place Account name here]\Local
Settings\Temp"

^ That is where the temp folder is.

Navigate to "C:\Documents and Settings\[Place Account name here]\Local
Settings\Temporary Internet Files"

^ That is where the Temporary Internet Files are located.

If it is not located in either of these locations then maybe you cleared
your temp and Temporary Internet Files or you used another broswer instead
of IE( Internet Explorer) . If you used another broswer it might go to
another location.

I hope I solved the conflict you were having .
