Can anyone please help?

My Internet Explorer V.6 has stopped saving anything in
the temporary files.

When ever I visit a page, leave to another and go back,
it spends all the time re-loading the text and photo's
and does because there is nothing in the temp file to
load back again.

My setting is set to automatic and has a temp file size
set to 9000 Meg.

After I finish browsing, I close the Explorer and check
the temp file and it's empty with the exception of the
cookies.

Any idea what is going on here, thanks, GREG

Greg,
Internet Options | Advanced [tab]
Uncheck: "Empty TIF when browser is closed", click Apply\Ok

The above applies to the below Registry Entry:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet
Settings\Cache]
"Persistent"=dword:00000001

Where: "00" = Empty, "01" = do not empty
[otherwise]
You may need to clear your TIF as you may have a corrupt file there.

Close all instances of OE and IE
Control Panel | Internet Options | General tab
Click the "Delete Files" button, when prompted place a check in:
"Delete all offline content", click OK
Click the "Clear History" button, click OK.
Click the Settings button, adjust the TIF size to 50 mb, click OK
