Don't know if this is about accessibility or not, but my son recently copied
some a file to the CD drive to copy onto a disc, but hit the wrong folder so
he didn't finish it. The folder he chose was Windows (NOT the one he
wanted!) Now, when I go to delete the files from the cd wizard (the ones that
are waiting to be copied onto the disc) it won't let me. Keeps telling me
"access denied canot delete these files. Make sure files are not in use or
write-protected." I just want to delete them because I have a problem with
Windows XP starting; all my desktop icons are highlighted, and the My
Document file (with these files in them) keeps popping up. It was probably
about 3 weeks before I realized what he'd done.
Does anyone have any ideas or tricks to fix this? Thanks much for any
help-it will be greatly appreciated. The computerin question is an Emachines
T1120 that came loaded with Windows XP.--
