Temporary Files won't burn to CD

I have selected files to copy to my CD and, using Explore, dragged them to
the formatted CD-R. The Temporary folder pops up, and says I have files
waiting to copy to a CD. I click on Add the Files to the CD, and the Wizard
starts. It says to insert a writeable CD. I try again, this time not
formatting the CD, same thing. Up until last week I was able to successfully
copy files to a CD without the wizard. Is there any way to disable the
temporary folder?

Firstly, there's no such thing as formatting a CD-R. Are you talking about
CD-RW's? Were you previously able to drag and drop files to a CD-RW that
you had formatted? If so, it indicates you were running a packet writing
program and that may be the issue. Please clarify the problem and will
advise further.
