Temporary file saved on disk

Does anyone have a solution for this? I was trying to save a file from word on disk but it turned out to be too big for the disk. So i popped in another one to save the rest. It seemed to work but when I opened the file on the second disk to retrieve the information it was a temporary file and most of the text was in computer language. I really need to know who can fix this if it can be fixed?? HELP! Or can I fix it myself? It's encoded and non of the deciphering measures available by word work. I need something else. If if helps it shows up mostly as square 0's and y's with little dots overhead. Maybe that helps in identifying it.

The short answer is never, ever, save a document directly to floppy. As you
observe, you end up with a corrupt document. Sad, but probably
irrecoverable.

Always save to hard disk, then use the Explorer to copy to floppy.
