I'm pulling my hair out on various sites trying to get accurate advice on how
to create an email template and set it as default. I have explorer 8, Vista
and Windows Mail.

Please someone help. I'm nearly there I'm sure.

Create a new message and format it as you wish. Then go to File | Save As and save it to the Desktop. Then whenever you want to send a message, click on that saved file and edit and send.
