Hi folks,

is it possible to create the following template for word, and if, how do
I do it ?

1st page has some design. if the text on the fist page gets too long and
a page break to page 2 occurs then the 2nd page needs to have a
different design.

This is interesting for letters from a company where the 1st page got
the logo etc. on top edge and the following pages are plain. Especially
when the 1st page can be printed from a separate printer tray with paper
that got the company deign already on it and the following sheet can be
drawn from the 2nd paper tray.

Any ideas, or maybe some online help page will be appreciated.

Greets,

Goetz

It is built into Word. You put your letterhead for the first page in the
first page header. You put your information for subsequent pages in the
"header." Set your page layout to have different headers and footers on the
first page.

There's more to designing letterhead than that, though. Look at Suzanne
Barnhill's web site for a good tutorial. <URL:

See the MVP FAQ: <URL: http://www.mvps.org/word/> which is awesome!
