I have created a template using a form (lease) I got from a library CD. I
saved it as lease.dot in the template folder.
How do I fill in the blanks without shifting the text and structure of the
template.
I have been selecting an area in the form's blank space to create a black
bar, which is replaced by the text I type.
I still have a problem with the original text-line structure shifting.
I have not found anything in the help section of "Word, version 2000 9.0"
that is of any assistance.
Any words of wisdom will be greatly appreciated.

I am having the same problem Frank is having. The tex keeps shiting when I try to fill in the blanks in a form. How do I avoid that?L
 
Ordinarily you would want text to reflow. If a more structured form is
desired, it should be set up as a table.

What you are talking about is what Word calls an "online form." Look up this
term in Word
