Ok, I'm trying to create a template for a auto-responder of sorts. When I'm
editing a message in text mode and go to save it, I have the option to save
it as a document template with the *.dot extension, not the *.oft which is
required by the rules wizard.
-----
To save a message as a template, you must temporarily turn off Microsoft
Word as your default e-mail editor.
Open a new Outlook message.
In the message body, type whatever information you'd like to appear in your
custom reply.
On the File menu, click Save As.
In the File name box, enter a name for your reply template.
In the Save as type box, click Outlook template, and then click Save.
On the File menu, click Close, and then when prompted to save, click No.
--in the steps above found above, on my outlook 2002, there is no "out look
template"
Anyone have any ideas?
