Template Opening

Hello,

I have a Document Created from a Template. The Template Resides on a Network
Share. The document created from the Template is sent to our Customer (who
also has access to the network share) and if he opens the Document it takes
a long time to open. I think the problem might be because of the Template
which resides on the Network share and hence the access to this is Slow from
the Customer's Site. Is it possible to make the opening of the document
faster?
The document when opened at our end opens normally as the speed or the
access to the network share is fast compared to the one which the customer
has.

I think you've diagnosed the root cause of the problem correctly.

I can't test this, but I think you can remove the connection to the
template with the Menu: Tools/Templates and Add-ins, and just remove the
text where it shows the current template. It will replace it with
"normal" with no affect on the document format.

Also, since the customer's access to the template across the network is
slow anyway, why not just disconnect this access? Give them *copies* of
these templates to put into their own local lan or workstations.
