In Word, your have a template Normal.dot, my question is: do you have such a
template in Powerpoint 2002?

For default formatting and such, yes. See the link that TAJ replied with.

To include vba code that automatically executes, toolbars that appear by magic
and so forth, no. That requires a PowerPoint addin.
