I am not sure if I am explaining this correctly but here we go:
I want to create a master template file folder on a server that will be used by numerous people.
The template folder would be copied and renamed to a specific project.
Once you open this main folder there are 5-7 sub-folders, each containing their own excel documents that information being populated by a master INFO sheet in another sub folder.
How can I link these all together? When I copy the folders and fill in the blanks on the INFO sheet then it doesn't populate anything because it is still looking for the main template folder's information.
I thought I outsmarted this and pulled all the excel sheets into the main folder, filled in the INFO sheet and then put them into the appropriate sub-folder. Once I put them in there it broke the link again!!! Grr. I am not a very knowledgeable computer person but am wondering if this is even possible.
