Tempfiles?

I am new with XP but was use to find mid files or jpg into tempfiles under
98SE
I have done a search on my C: and find nothing, what am I doing wrong?

What temp files are you referring to? The "Temporary Internet Files" folder,
or the Windows temp folder? (If it's the latter, go to Start\Run and launch
"%temp%" (without the quotes).)
