Does any one know a temperature monitoring utility that works on Vista
64-bit? I have tried many, but none was able to show anything...

Thanks

Everest might work -- and give you a lot more information than just the
temperature, too. I think it's still free for home non-commercial use. HTH &
all good wishes.

Yeah, Everest works fine on x64.

Core temp worked for me without any problems, speedfan needs the F8 to
bypass the driver signing and it did seem a bit picky about working.

I use MotherBoardMonitor, but requires F8 at boot to get by the driver signing problem. install and run as administrator.

speed fan would not work at all.

believe you have to install and run as administrator.

Not only does Everest (www.lavalys.com) work flawlessly on Vista x64,
but if you use their most recent beta build (804 was the last build I
saw), it will display the readings as a gadget in the Vista Sidebar. To
get graphics card temperatures, you are presently out of luck for nVidia
cards, as the two monitoring programs (the excellent Riva Tuner and
nVidia's own nTune) presently don't work quite right with Vista x64.
This probably has more to do with the nVidia Vista display drivers than
the monitoring software. You will probably have to wait until next month
when Vista is released to the full retail channel.

SpeedFan works if you change the speedfan driver from BOOT to AUTO. :)

Plus, F8 & Admin, yawn.

Nah still works, you have to do it every reboot though :(

It looks like Everest may be better though as there going to get the driver
signed, I can't see MBM or speedfan having a signed driver.
