Hi everyone,

Sorry if this is off topic but I hope someone can answer this for me. I
will be moving and will be having movers pack, move, and store my stuff in a
warehouse in Texas and I am sure it could get up to around 125 to 140 inside
one of those metal enclosed storage units (non air conditioned).

Could you please tell me what the recommended maximum storage temperature is
for CD's and DVD's. I know a lot of people leave them in locked up cars
with the windows up, and it could easily get up to 125 degrees inside of a
locked up car with the sun beaming down. Would they deteriorate more, the
longer you left them at a high temperature (say if I had some discs stored
in the warehouse for three months or something like that). Or should you
never store them above a certain temperature regardless of how long.

Thanks...Pete

Actually cds & dvds are quite durable unless abused (left in stream of sun
in a
closed-up vehicle).I dought you'll have a problem if stored in proper
containers,
for specific temp specs,go to memorex.com or similiar.
