I have set IE6 advanced options to "Empty Temporary Internet Files folder
when browser is closed" Next, I deleted temp files and cookies. Then I set
the maximum disk space to use for temporary internet files to 150mb.
Then I ran "disk cleanup" which showed 0 temp internet files. Then I right
clicked on the temporary internet files folder for user administrator which
said there were 1891 files in 31 folders totaling 182mb on the disk.
However the paine on the right showed only 2 files, one of 4kb and the other
of 1kb and no folders. What is going on here and how can this be fixed?

Hi,
Try:
1. When clearing the TIF from Internet Options> General, check the "Delete
offline content" box when it pops-up.

2. CCleaner from www.ccleaner.com Check the box to delete index.dat files.

3. Did you restart after using Disk Cleanup? Shouldn't be necessary, but
might make a difference.

Hope this helps,
Don
