Temp folders

There was something I used to do successfully when I had Win ME to remove
Temporary Internet Files. After a restart I used to delete the Temp Folders
C drive and in the Windows Folder. Is it equally safe for me to do the same
thing now in XP Home?

Thanks for your response. I do know about removing TIF Files. My question
was if it was safe to remove the two Temp Folders after a restart.

It's safe to empty them, but don't delete the folders themselves.
