In my 98SE, there is one temp folder, in Windows. Something tells me
there is more than one temp folder in XP. How many temp folders are
there in XP and where are they located?

There may be a Temp folder at the root of the system drive (usually C:) if
some third-party programs made it. Each user account has a temp file
located in:

C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Local Settings\Temp

There is also a temp folder in C:\Windows.

To keep your computer clean, you can run Disk Cleanup in each account.
Start>Run>cleanmgr [enter]
