How can I clean the Temp folder?
Trying to clean the "Temporary Internet Files" from the IE options doesn't
do that?
Thanks in advance.

you can manuel remove everything in temp-folder
start explorer and go to
"C:\Documents and Settings\accountname\Local Settings\Temp"
mark everything (ctrl-A) and delete.

you can even do it automatic whith a script i.e.
"del C:\Documents and Settings\accountname\Local Settings\Temp\*.* /q"

Hi,

hm you should know first what exactly you want to clean - if we talking
about Temporary Internet Files - you can do it from IE - it shouldn't be any
problem. But if you want clean Temp folder then IE hasn't got that option -
this is System's folder not IE ;-)

If you don't want to do this by hand you can use Disk Cleanup.

The TEMP folder is hidden so you need to unhide the folders first

Open any folder, click TOOLS/FOLDER OPTIONS/VIEW tab & click the SHOW HIDDEN
FILE & FOLDERS option then click APPLY then OK

Now naviage to C:\Docs & Settings\[username]\local settings\TEMP

Then do as the other user said; CTRL + A (select all), DELETE & press ENTER
