I have a folder on which configuration control is quite
important. Because of this I have set it up so that users
can only save and modify files in certain folders.
However if a user attempts to save a files in a folder for
which he has no permission, even though he gets the
message telling him he cannot do it 2 files are created in
the folder. One is called the name of the file the other
is a temp file, they are both of zero size and contain no
data. On occasion this has lead less experienced users to
think that the system is "lying" and that they have saved
thier document resulting in lost work.
I'm sure I can't be the only one who's noticed this
problem but I have searched and cannot find any other
reference to it.
Any advice anyone can give me would be brilliant.
