Hi all.
I have a Temp file located in: My Computer\Documents &
Settings\My Name\Local settings which is getting quite
large. Disk cleanup does not clear it. Is it safe to
delete the contents of this file? Win XP OS
Thanks in advance

Files in the TEMP folder are safe to delete *provided* you have just
rebooted the computer.

Very often files are left in the TEMP folder by new program installs
and updates pending their being moved to their intended final
locations on the next startup.

So reboot first and then clean house.

Good luck
