I have a LAN divided into 2 subnets with a firewall in between. I have
forwarded port 25 from one subnet (external) to the other (internal). I know
this is setup correctly as I have other ports open that work. I know the
exchange server is ok as I can telnet to it on the internal LAN.
When using telnet on port 25 from subnet (external) to the other subnet
(internal) I get "connection failed".
Must I have anything else open to allow this connection to occur ? i.e
telnet port on 22 for example or does the fact that I use 25 negate this ?
Thanks for your time.
