we have an 8 unit (xp and w2k pro) network with a w2k
server and w2003 server (terminal server).
two days ago all but one unit (both server and 7 units)
wasn't able to telnet port 25 on the exchange server.
running netstat, looking at services shows that the smtp
service is running on the server. all units cannot telnet
any smtp server on the internet either.
the one unit (xp pro) is still able to telnet port 25 on
the local and internet smtp servers.
all units, including the one that works, were checked for
add aware stuf, antivirus, and new service packs.
anyone seen this before?
