Telling Outlook 2k3 to always use a specific address when multiple addresses match.

I have a user that wants to be able to type initials into her To: field and
have the initials resolve to a persons name. We created distribution lists
and had each list name be the persons initials. This worked fine until we
hired a new person with the initials SM. Now when the user types SM they
either get autofilled to the first Smith on the list or if they type SM;
they get a box stating there are multiple matches.

Is there a way to override both of these behaviors? I have searched through
old postings, but can't figure out the search phrase to get the results I am
looking for.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Not any more. In previous versions of Outlook, you could create manual name
resolutions and they would be stored in the NICK file. In Outlook 2003,
autocompletion's NK2 file has replaced the NICK file, and manual name
resolutions can no longer be created or stored. Instead, names resolved
manually are resolved to the Display Name and only the Display Name and
email address are stored in the autocompletion cache.
