Why dont Susan and Geena converse by telephone? This would probably solve
the communication issues that have appeared. Communication by email is
problematic.
Written communication is much better.
When people talk they often think they have said one thing but actually
said something else. Or the person listening thinks one thing was said
while the the other person said something else.
Written communication allows people to edit their messages until they
are really satisfied with it. It allows the reader to read a message
several times, to really understand what the other person wrote.
Written messages can be put in the outbox for hours or days before
actually sending it, allowing for afterthought and changes.
Written messages can be read when the receiver is in a proper mode to
read them, they do not have to be received immediately like the spoken
word.
Written communication in public is even better than private email,
because other people can then help them to understand and clear up
misunderstandings, or criticize the way one of the writers think, and
help him/her understand better.
