Tektronix phaser 850 jam

After the printer jammed, I removed all paper traces.
The printer still tries to print the page that jammed...and jams
again.
I want to perform the cleaning task, but before I get there I'd like
to know how to "tell" my printer to stop trying to print that original
page.
Is there a way to clear the memory of it, so it doesn't revert to said
page?

Your Tektronix Printer try’s to print a start-up page every time you
switch it on, this is probably causing your "always trying to print
problem" alternatively to can cancel any job when you switch on the
printer buy pressing the cancel button when you see the job status on
the lcd. However if your printer still jams, you have a problem with the
printer, not the job you are trying to print. These 850's are crap and
do this all the time.
