Hey geek ,
In "save as " option of IE6 ,web page complete and web archive option are
not available , only the html and text only options are available. I dont
recollect if it happened after any other installation. However when i had
started windows in safe mode once...i could see the other two options
also...but not in the normal mode.I have tried reinstalling IE6, all internet
options and even tried to figure out things in file types desperately. Please
help me.....Have a gr8 day.

If you find time please mail your solution to (e-mail address removed).

If this is reproduceable, if the options are always there in Safe Mode,
another program is blocking these options.

Which version of Windows? Which version of IE? eg. Version: 6.0.2800.1106 or
Version: 6.00.2900.2180

Hi,
If these 2 save as options are always present in Safe Mode and are missing
with a regular startup, I would still be looking at other programs which
might be causing the problem. Try disabling from MSCONFIG> Startup any
programs you think might be causing this.

You might also search the registry for the value "NoBrowserSaveWebComplete"
if it's present, modify the value from 1 to 0. Backup the registry before
editing.
See: 256419- How to Back Up the Registry in Windows 98 and Windows
Millennium Edition: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/q256419/

With IE6 on Win98, you might have the option to repair IE from add/remove
programs> IE> Add/remove> repair.

I haven't heard of malware causing this problem, but you might run Ad-aware
and Spybot.
