Tech TV, back when it was worth watching, was killed and replaced by G4
crap.

Leo LaPorte has a show called 'tech lab' or something like that but it is
only shown in Canada and Australia.

Is there any reason why Americans are not allowed to see shows like this?

While I agree that most American TV shows are stupid and anal, there are
those of us who like nice intelligent shows. Too bad there's not enough of
us.

Sadly the exceptions that prove the rule seldom get catered for. Not
enough ad revenue.
 
Do not know but I am American and remember the days of techtv with leo
laporte. Now, whoever bought them changed the name to g4 and the focus is
on computer games with some crap mixed in. That changeover was a failure
because they started showing the man show, star trek, etc.

Meanwhile, the more techy stuff is being kept out of america and is
irritating.
