I recently purchased the program Musicmatch Jukeboxdeluxe
v.8 When i installed it onto my computer, and tried to
burn some songs onto a CD-R, an error message came up
saying that there was "no drive was found for recording.
Verify the selected recorder in the options dialouge."
WEll when i try and "verify" the drive, it doesnt appear.
So i open up the device manager, and it tells me that it
is disabled. So i press the enable this device button, it
asks me if i want to even though it was probably disabled
due to errors, i press yes, and it says that Windows was
unable to enable the device. As does the troubleshooting
dialouge. I dont know if it came with a cd or something
to install it or manualy update it so that is out of the
question. I have tried burning on another persons
settings, and restarting the computer. Nothing works.What
do i do?

Processor: Intel Pentium III, ~930MHz
Memory: 382MB RAM
DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0b (4.09.0000.0902)
 
Hi,
Initially I would uninstall musicmatch and check the device again. (go
through the routine you described) If that doesn't change anything try out
system restore to a point just before you installed musicmatch. I don't
think the program should have an effect on your CDR but you need to be sure.
If you haven't changed anything else recently or installed any other
programs try some earlier restore points.
Apart from that you may need to uninstall the device and reboot and let
windows detect it again.
